Using Zoflora outdoors

Even in outdoor areas, Zoflora can be used to keep things safe and fresh! Whilst most people will be quite on top of cleaning in their home, the areas outside can be easily forgotten. Fortunately, even in outdoor areas, Zoflora can be used to keep things safe and fresh
Bins
Even more so than the ones inside, wheelie bins have been identified as high risk hotspots for infection, carrying up to three times the acceptable level of bacteria. Eliminate germs and avoid bin odours by rinsing wheelie bins with Zoflora every two weeks.

Wipe it
​
Dilute 4 capfuls of your choice of Zoflora disinfectant into 800ml of water and pour the solution into your bin. Use a long-handled brush or mop to scrub down. Don't forget to wipe the lid, handles and outside of the bin with a cloth or sponge soaked in diluted Zoflora. When the job is done, pour the dirty solution down the drain.
Children's apparatus
Keeping kids safe and shielded from germs is usually amongst the top priorities for home hygiene, and it's important not to overlook the importance of making sure that outdoor play equipment stays clean, especially during the summer months when it is used more.

Wipe it

Just dilute 4 capfuls of your choice of Zoflora fragrance in a bucket containing 800ml of warm water, soak your cloth in the solution and wipe down all play apparatus surfaces, killing harmful bacteria and adding a fresh smell. Leave surfaces to dry completely before allowing children to play.
Patio
Winning the seemingly never ending battle to keep the patio clean is no mean feat, especially if the area is frequently visited by pets or wildlife. Luckily, you have Zoflora on your side. Scrubbing down patio surfaces will not only remove germs and animal dirt, but it will also restore fragrant freshness.

Mop it

Add 4 capfuls for every 800ml of water into a mop bucket and pour the solution over your patio. Use a hard bristle yard brush to scrub down.
Patio furniture
Outdoor tables, chairs and garden furniture don't just accumulate visible weather debris and dirt through regular use - they can also become breeding grounds for bacteria brought by visiting birds and insects.

Wipe it

Soak a cloth in diluted Zoflora, adding 2 capfuls of Zoflora per 400ml of water, then use it to wipe down all the surfaces and areas you want to disinfect.
Drains
Your waste pipe outlet and drain can start to kick up a stink in the garden - don't let it. Eliminate bad odours and kill bacteria and viruses at the same time with Zoflora.

Soak it

Simply pour 2 capfuls of neat Zoflora disinfectant straight down the drain to kill the bacteria that cause unpleasant odours.

Always use Zoflora safely
Do not use on polished wood, painted, varnished or composite granite surfaces
Do not mix with other cleaning products
Allow a contact time of 5 minutes
Do not spray directly onto or near to open flames or electronic devices
Dilute 1 part
Zoflora to 20 parts water - e.g. 2 capfuls (20ml) added to 400ml of water
Make sure to exclude pets from the area until surfaces are completely dry
Remember that Zoflora maintains its germ-killing power for 2 weeks once diluted
