Using Zoflora in the bathroom

Bathroom hygiene is essential to keeping your home and family safe, so use Zoflora as shown here for easy wins. Our multi-purpose concentrated disinfectant can be used throughout the home to combat the spread of bacteria and viruses.

Tiled floor

You might be on top of the mopping, but even though the bathroom floor looks clean, it could still be covered in hundreds and thousands of bacteria, especially around the toilet area. Using Zoflora when mopping floors will ensure any harmful germs are killed as well as leaving your bathroom with a lovely fragrant aroma.

Mop it

Add 4 capfuls of Zoflora per 800ml of water into a mop bucket and use the diluted solution to mop over and disinfect hard surfaces. Do not use on polished wood.

Bath

If you think about it, baths are basically like really big sinks - and they can be just as good at breeding germs. Bacteria thrive in warm, damp places, so it's vital to ensure you hygienically clean the bath on a regular basis. A trigger spray filled with diluted Zoflora is the perfect way to tackle the tubs.

Spray it

Use on pre-cleaned surfaces only. Add 5 capfuls of Zoflora to a clean 500ml trigger spray bottle containing water then spray directly onto the bath and wipe over with a cloth to disinfect.

Hard surfaces

When you're busy taking on the toilet, sink and bins, it's easy to overlook bathroom surfaces. And while they may look clean, they may be harbouring harmful germs. Simply wiping down surfaces with Zoflora can disinfect these areas and kill any harmful germs.

Sink

Sinks, drains and plug holes can not only harbour harmful bacteria but also be responsible for bad odours. Using Zoflora regularly can eliminate germs and keep things smelling fresh.

Wipe it

Pour 2 capfuls of Zoflora straight from the bottle down plug holes to kill unwanted germs and get rid of unpleasant smells. To disinfect the sink, run some warm water and add 2 capful of Zoflora for every 400ml of water. Soak a cloth in the diluted solution and wipe over the sink to eliminate bacteria.

Where to use Zoflora

Wherever you take the fight against dirt and germs, take Zoflora with you.

Taps

Because of what the sink is used for, taps see a lot of dirty hands over the course of an average day. This makes them a popular spot for bacteria to hide, so make sure to disinfect all parts of the tap regularly.

Wipe it

Easy! Just dilute your choice of Zoflora disinfectant into some warm water, adding 2 capfuls for every 400ml of water. Wipe the taps all over to keep them free from 99.9% of bacteria.

Toilet

As you might expect, toilets are home to thousands of hidden bacteria, so they are a key battleground in the fight for home hygiene. Keeping them disinfected with Zoflora will give you peace of mind.

Soak it

For a brilliant, bug-busting bowl blast, pour 2 capfuls of neat Zoflora into the toilet after flushing and use the toilet brush to swish it around the bowl. This will kill germs, neutralise odours and leave a long-lasting fragrance in the bathroom. Do not mix Zoflora with other cleaning products.

Toilet brush

Even more so than bins, toilet brushes and their holders are the ultimate germ hot spots when it comes to bathroom hygiene. These tools may form part of your regular cleaning kit, but don't forget they need to be disinfected too!

Soak it

To ensure you kill the harmful bacteria which can live on the brush and in its holder, try soaking it in a bucket with 4 capfuls of your favourite Zoflora fragrance added to 800ml of water. This will not only kill the bacteria but also restore fragrant freshness.

Shower head

Shower heads: they're clean, right? Not necessarily. Did you know your shower head can contain 300,000 times more bacteria than your front door keys? It's because bacteria love warm, damp places, even those that are used for cleaning.

Soak it

To kill nasty germs that can live in hard-to-reach places, unscrew the showerhead and soak in a bucket filled with 4 capfuls of Zoflora and 800ml of water to kill 99.9% of bacteria.

Bins

Bathroom bins are hotspots for germs and bad odours. By cleaning and disinfecting regularly, you'll make sure bacteria and bad smells are kept under control.

Wipe it

Soak a clean cloth in diluted Zoflora, adding 2 capful per 400ml of water, then use it to wipe down the whole bin, not forgetting the lid and surrounding areas inside and out.
